1.Fixed Racking vs. Tracking Systems: A Rational Return to Lifespan Stability
While Solar Trackers have been a mature technology in the market for years, their commercial adoption remains a careful trade-off. True, they can boost power generation by 15% to 25% under perfect desert or flat plain conditions. However, as plants mature, global developers are increasingly facing the hidden costs of trackers: high vulnerability to complex terrains and escalating long-term Operation & Maintenance (O&M) expenses driven by motorized moving parts and drive shafts.

2.Material Evolution: Why Zn-Al-Mg Steel is Utilised in Solar Racking
For non-aluminum structural applications, the industry increasingly utilises Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium solar racking instead of traditional Hot-Dip Galvanized(HDG) Steel Historically, heavy-duty outdoor infrastructure—such as prefabricated substationcabins and electrical enclosures—relied heavily on Stainless Steel for ultimate corrosion resistance or Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel for structural strength. However, stainless steel often proves cost-prohibitive for large-scale deployments, while traditional HDG steel is prone to rusting at post-processing cut edges and weld seams.To balance performance and budget, modern electrical engineeringand grid infrastructure have widely shifted toward Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium (Zn-Al-Mg) steel  as a premium, cost-effective upgrade.
According to metallurgical data, Zn-Al-Mg offers 10x to 20x higher corrosion resistance than traditional HDG steel. More importantly, it features an automatic "Self-Healing" effect. When the steel is cut, drilled, or scratched during onsite installation, the Magnesium (Mg) and Aluminum (Al) elements in the coating dissolve slightly and migrate to form a highly dense protective chemical layer over the exposed edge. This process protects the cut-edges without requiring slow, costly manual touch-up painting onsite.

3.Practical Applications: Where This System Shines
